We opened Rabbet in 2024 in an old tenement shop in Strathbungo, lovingly restoring all of its original features to create a beautiful space for creatives in the Southside of Glasgow.
With over seven years of framing experience, including framing for National Gallery of Scotland, Dundee Contemporary Arts, CCA, The Modern Institute and Edinburgh Printmakers, we specialise in hand-finished, contemporary picture frames with a variety of natural solid hard woods and hand painted finishes.
We are the only dedicated art store in the Southside of Glasgow and are proud to stock brands such as Wallace Seymour, Stockmar, Kakimori, Pith, Fabriano and Blackwing.

At Rabbet every frame starts life as a solid hardwood and is waxed or painted by hand. It’s a labour intensive approach which takes time, but we think the results speak for themselves.
